Many contain Vitamin E and other nutrients.  The brand Zenmed offers a number of popular products.  A number of people claim that it can improve new scars in as little as 4 weeks, or up to 3 months for older, deeper scars.  Results with acne scar creams will differ from person to person.

Collagen Injections - This is not a permanent solution.  Here, body fat or collagen is injected directly into the scar area.  This treatment for acne scarring works well for some people with deep pitted scars.  The substance injected serves to raise the skin, and reduce the pitted appearance, and wrinkling from the scar.  However, this procedure needs to be repeated every 6 months and can be expensive.
