Best treatment for acne?

I have had stubborn acne for almost four years, I’m nineteen and moving to California soon and would like my acne gone for good! I’ve tried many over the counter products and a few medications from my dermatologist. What products have you tried from your dermatologist that have actually worked for you? Thanks!

I think I have good news for you. I live in Oklahoma but I used to live in Southern California. If you live coastal and like the water, most likely your acne will go away on its own. The air is salty when you live on the coast and I was a surfer so the salt water kept my skin soft and clear. I had no acne problems ’til I moved back to Oklahoma, then I had to start using Proactiv which is a lifesaver but my skin is still not as smooth and clear as it was when I was in the ocean water all the time. I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
